3rd Hand Ranch deals with the harsh reality of young women, who deal with bullying. A rancher and his wife invite four struggling young teens to their farm for the school year to find their footing with themselves and their inner strength, as well as a much needed environment, in which they can learn to trust others. The lovable troublesome dog, Banjo, is well adapted to read the cues from the girls and helps to comfort in times of need also. A gripping and laughable book that has found a home on many shelves already.
